Do I have to install anything?
No, nothing at all. The tool runs on our servers under an address we set up for you. Not a single file lands on your web space, and no plugin goes into your content management system. You place a link or four lines of code, and that is where the contact with your website ends.
What if I have no website skills?
Then take the link; that is exactly what it is for. It behaves like any other link on your site and goes into any site builder. If you would rather have the tool embedded, we send you the finished code and tell you where it belongs. And if somebody else looks after your website, we will arrange it with them directly if you want.
Where does the camera data come from?
From the manufacturers’ data sheets. We take the resolution and the horizontal field of view exactly as the manufacturer measures them, and calculate nothing back from the focal length. That sounds pedantic, but it is the point at which many calculations come apart: with a real varifocal lens the measured and the back-calculated value are whole factors apart, not decimal places. The catalogue is maintained by us and grows with every data sheet we work through.
Can I get scenes of my own for my sector?
Yes. A yard, a warehouse and a shop entrance come with it. If you mostly plan filling stations, car parks, hospital corridors or school yards, we build the matching scene to your specification. We charge for that separately, and we settle what it costs in the conversation beforehand.
Who owns the enquiries that come in through the tool?
You do. They go to the address you name and do not pass through us. We do not read them, do not pass them on and do not use them for our own purposes. What is written here is also in the contract.
How do I cancel?
An email is enough, to the end of the current month. There is no minimum term and no deadline that can slip past you. After the last month paid for we switch your address off. The enquiries that came in until then are with you anyway.
